Espe Tobon is a Colombian artist who moved to Canada in 2003. Painting was a dream for her for a long time but it was only at her arrival to Montreal that she could start achieving it.

She started taking drawing lessons of human body and oil painting in a gallery of Old Montreal and continued her training by taking painting workshops during her short stays in Cali, her hometown.

March 2006 was her first opportunity to exhibit her work during "La Semaine de la Francophonie" event that reunited immigrant artists. A few months later, she participated in the Days of Cultural Diversity at Le Musée des Maîtres at Artisans du Quebec" in Montreal, Canada where she exhibited abstract paintings, collages and pre-Columbian paintings.

In September 2011 she had her first "SOLO exhibiton" where she exposed a series of human body paintings together with some abstract and contemporary work.

Since 2012 she has been living in different places in Canada, Morocco, Qatar and now Bahrain where she continues dedicating her time to her hobby and sharing her art with the public.
